ABOUT BLUE OCEAN EVENTS

Blue Ocean Events is Kathy Halloran, who has lived on the Outer Banks for 20 years. She has been an active member of the Outer Banks Wedding Association since it's inception in 1996. She has served on the Board of Directors, as well as chairperson of the annual Wedding Expo Committee where she honed her event planning skills.

She founded Blue Ocean Events in 2006 when she was asked to coordinate the Outer Banks Wedding Association's highly coveted Dream Wedding, awarded to one lucky bride each year. She has strong relationships with dozens of top-notch Outer Banks and regional event vendors . That, combined with her tireless attention to detail, lends an extra sparkle to each event she plans.

In addition to Blue Ocean Events, Kathy is owner of Halloran and Company Jewelers in Nags Head, which she established 12 years ago. She maintains a second home and event planinng business on Florida's Palm Coast.
